Locating an RV Park or Campground
Get an RV park and campground directory (you will find some on this site on the right side). You'll also find them at book and RV accessory stores. The directories list the RV parks and campgrounds by area. You simply open the book to the area where you want to stay to find the campgrounds available.
Each individual listing will include information about the campground, its facilities and fees. Owners of large rigs should pay particular attention to the campground's size limitations.
Commercial directories don't always list the government campgrounds. Try to obtain listings or directories of the National, State, County and City campgrounds in the areas you are visiting.
Reservations at campgrounds and RV parks should be made according to the location and time of year just as you would at a hotel or motel. If you want to stay on a holiday or summer weekend, reservations might be wise. If you will arrive during the middle of the week or during the off season, reservations may not be necessary.
Many RVers prefer to travel without the constraints of an itinerary. They don't make reservations because they don't know where they will be on any given day. Others, with a particular destination and time frame in mind, will secure their campsite by making reservations. RVing offers this freedom of choice.
Before stopping for the night, refer to your campground directory. Select a couple of RV parks or campgrounds that fit your needs and budget. It's not a bad idea to personally check the facilities, especially the restroom and laundry, before registering. This can be important if you plan to use the showers or wash a load of clothes.
Government campgrounds frequently let you drive through, select an empty site and then return to register. Camping fees are generally the same for all the sites.
RV parks and commercial campgrounds will generally register you and assign you to a campsite immediately upon your arrival. Camping fees will vary according to the hookup facilities you request and, on occasion, the size and location of the site.
Most RV parks and campgrounds post their campsite rates on a board behind the registration desk. Typically, there is a basic overnight fee with additional charges for each hookup service. There may also be additional charges for more than two persons, pets, additional vehicles and use of air conditioners or electric heaters.
Many RVers want full hookups every night and are willing to pay for them, others may only request electric and water hookups. They will use the campground's disposal station when they leave in the morning. Some RVers will ask for just a "dry" campsite.
A lot of RV parks and campgrounds offer discounts to members of RV clubs. Some offer weekly and monthly rates. Inquire about discounts and rates before registering.
Ask for:
A site that will accommodate your slide-out room(s).
A pull-through site if you have a long rig.
Hookup connections on the left (driver's) side of the campsite.
A shady site in the summer.
A sunny site when it's cold.
A site close to the recreational facilities if you won't mind the noise.
A site convenient to the restroom if you won't mind the foot traffic.
A site near the laundry room if you are going to use it.
Look over the literature you are given when you register. It may tell you what channels have which TV networks, what churches, restaurants and stores are in the neighborhood and other local items of interest. Patronize the advertisers on the campground literature, they clearly want your business.
Here are some ways you can reduce the cost of overnight camping:
Use your campground directory(s) to compare the prices of campgrounds in the area you wish to spend the night.
Take advantage of your RV or other club discounts.
Select and only pay for the utility hookups you need.
Ask about weekly or monthly rates.
Don't overlook the sometimes less expensive campgrounds in National, State, County and City parks.
And our favorite, cultivate lots of friends with long driveways.

But, what is a Class C motor home? How does this type differ from the other two classes of motor homes?
Class C motor home is also known as mini motor home. On the most basic, the Class C type of motor home is the one recognized throughout the motor home industry for its unique cab-over bunk.
In simple terms, the Class C type is that which provides a sleeping bunk atop of the cab which can be utilized as a bedroom, in addition to the one which is installed in the back. When this addition compartment is not used as a sleeping section, then it can also be utilized as a storage area.
Class C motor home is built on what is popular as a cutaway van chassis. What this things means is in fact that the complete façade of the vehicle which covers the doors, dash, and cockpit area is constructed in the same manner as that of the van or pick up truck.
However, today this type has undergone several changes in terms of the appearance and capabilities. What are deemed wonderful about this motor home type are the following features:
Spacious and Fully Equipped
In general, the Class C motor home provides spacious rooms for ample living. Just like the other types of motor homes, it is full equipped with all the essentials needed by couples or families.
Like the Class A type, this motorized recreational vehicle at least four of permanently installed living system such as refrigeration or ice box, heating or air conditioning, cooking area, a portable water system, toilet, a separate 100 to 125 volt electrical systems, LP gas supply, and of course some sleeping facilities. Yes, all of these supplies and amenities can be found within a Class C motor home.
Extra Sleeping Bunk
As mentioned earlier, this compartment is available over the cab area. It can be considered as an additional sleeping area, but it can also be utilized as a storage room once it is not used as a bedroom.
Perfect for Towing
This feature is what basically makes Class C motor home similar to the Class B motor home type. Well, just like the Class B, this vehicle can tow a camper trailer, a boat or a smaller car which in turn can provide additional space for a comfortable living.
Slide Outs
Another notable feature found in both Class A and Class C motor home is slide outs. Just like in Class A motor home, the slide outs in the Class C type of motor home can be moved and adjusted at a touch of the button.
Since the RV’s exterior wall can be moved outward at a push of a button, it’s no wonder that you will obtain extra space that you can use as a sleeping area or a living room. Note that these slide outs will add up to an additional of one meter to the width of the Class C motor home.
So that’s said. the conveniences and comforts that its Class A and Class B can be found in Class C motor homes counterparts are capable of giving. What basically differentiates it from the two is the fact that it is a hybrid form of motor home that it is built by taking the chassis of a van and constructing a travel trailer body onto it.

Yes, there is such a thing! Class B motor home is in fact used by many campers these days for the comfort, luxury and safety it provides.
Throughout the world, the Class B motor home is specially recognized as the most versatile and economical type of the motorized recreational vehicles. It is also known by the name “van camper” or “camper van” and is deemed perfect for any travel occasion for the fact that it can easily be readied and loaded.
According to some resources, it was in 1970s, when the recreational vehicle or RV industry decided to classify van campers as a new type of motor home, the Class B motor home was first introduced.
The idea of van camper can be traced back to early 1960s when a regular van was transformed and used a campe rvan. Following that introduction is a massive production of Class B motor homes, and it is nice to know that this phenomenon is evident up to these days.

Another great feature of a Class B type of motor home is full stand-up room. Basically, this feature is achieved the camper van’s raised roof, but this can also be achieved by the use of dropper floors which can be used as an extra head room inside.
Spacious and Well-Equipped
The Class B type of motor home is said to be narrower than the other types of recreational vehicles mainly for the reason that it uses the space within the body of the vehicle. Most of the van’s body is dropped with a raised roof.

Towing Capability
One of the features of a Class B motor home that makes it attractive for a full time RV or camper is its capability to tow travel trailers. A camper trailer can in fact be towed behind the camper van and this is highly favorable as it gives you extra rooms to rest and sleep.
This is perfect for kids and guests. Aside from that, the Class B motor home can tow snowmobile or a boat, and even a small family car for the reason it has proper combination of transmission, final drive axle ration, and engine.
At present, Class B motor home is considered as an engineering marvel. It comes in a modified and full sized Chevrolet, GMC, Ford or Dodge van and is best suited for short trips.

Because the other discovery I made was how to treat the 24/7 Forex market as an end-of-day market. This removes all the stress and strain associated with trading on a 24 hour basis. It’s often been said that if you can’t make money trading on an end-of-day basis, you’ll never make money day trading. I tend to agree.
When you treat the Forex markets as end-of-day markets, I’ve found they can offer far more profit potential than the minor swings many day traders kill themselves to capture. And when you learn the right way to trade Forex as an end-of-day market, you can quickly jump from one big swing to another as they’re driven by the Forex market giants – the big banks and other financial institutions, including governments...
...but while these behemoths react slowly to market changes due to their sheer size, as soon as you learn to spot a big swing, you can get on and “ride their coat tails”. And by the time they’ve turned to look over their shoulder, you’ll have already gone on to the next big swing.
For example, suppose several major financial institutions think that the Japanese Yen is undervalued versus the dollar and that the Japanese government will soon act to stop artificially suppressing the value of the Yen. Collectively they might begin slowly building what will become very large positions in the market by selling short the USD/JPY pair. I am talking about hundreds of thousands of standard lots.
Whether the Japanese government acts or not, the market might drop as expected, in part, due to the ever increasing short positions of these financial institutions. If they are right, we small traders can apply trading methods that will spot these moves and jump on board at a moment’s notice. We can protect our positions with initial stops and ride the wave to good profits if the market follows through on the downside. And we can jump out just as quickly as we jumped in. The big institutions simply can’t move that fast without damaging their positions.
